About Sunanda

I am a trauma and attachment informed therapist with over a decade’s experience in psychological trauma, stress and related disorders. I am almost about to finish my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I also passed my Masters in Clinical Psychology. I hold multiple qualifications in The Biology of Trauma work, Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems and The DARE approach to healing attachment wounds. I’m well versed in include: working with anger, depression, healthy aggression and life force energy; working with syndromal representations (such as autoimmune disorders) in conjunction with the polyvagal theory.  I am also a Gottman’s Institute certified couple’s therapist. Asides these I am trained in EFT , Breathwork and other approaches. I lead people through safely addressing stored trauma in the body and teach practitioners to do the same. The SAFE Program I use is an integrative holistic approach bridging medicine, neuroscience, attachment theory and multiple trauma therapies. I integrate and draw upon this extensive knowledge and clinical toolkit every day in my practice. I use an integrative, individualistic approach and work with the strengths and resources of my clients. I am deeply intrigued by how life experiences get stored in the body. I help people accelerate their trauma healing journey through my signature model and methodology- The SAFE Program, in regaining and maintaining our health and wellbeing, having seen its effects during my own healing journey and the profound impact this approach has on the lives of my patients in clinic.
